Synopsis

An age-old war divides the technologically superior Empire and the Nebulis Sovereignty, a lush refuge ruled by witches. Into this enduring clash step Iska, a battle-hardened imperial swordsman, and Aliceliese, the Sovereignty’s princess. Bound by duty to eliminate the other as a means of securing their peoples’ futures, they meet as sworn foes — but combat kindles an unexpected pull: Iska finds himself bewitched by her grace and moral clarity, while Aliceliese is moved by his fierce determination and honor.
