Synopsis

1823, southern Africa — the Zulu kingdom, led by the brilliant yet relentless tactician Shaka, pushes its influence toward the British Cape Colony. A hastily assembled expedition of scouts, mercenaries and regular officers is sent into Zululand to seek an audience with the king and to assess whether his growing army represents an immediate and existential threat.
