Sound of the Sky

Synopsis

On the edge of Helvetia lies the quiet town of Seize, its cobbled lanes and simple routines untouched by the rising strain between Helvetia and the neighboring Roman Empire. Stationed at the Clocktower Fortress, the 1121st platoon welcomes Kanata Sorami, a bright young recruit who enlisted to learn the bugle. Under the guidance of Sergeant Major Rio Kazumiya, a masterful trumpeter, Kanata trains alongside a small, tight-knit crew: the reserved mechanic Noël Kannagi, the fiery gunner Kureha Suminoya, and their warm-hearted leader, Captain Felicia Heideman. Together they savor the small wonders of daily life in Seize and find, amid a world fraying at the edges, the enduring comfort of companionship and community.
