Synopsis

A chance encounter shatters Kojou Akatsuki’s ordinary life as a high-schooler in the Demon District of Itogami Island, leaving him with the supernatural powers of a vampire. When he is identified as the Fourth Primogenitor — a nearly mythical figure of immense strength — the Lion King Organization intervenes, sending trainee sword-shaman Yukina Himeragi to watch him and, if he becomes a threat, to put him down. Forced into an uneasy partnership by duty and circumstance, Kojou must learn to control his new abilities while he and Yukina contend with mounting supernatural dangers that threaten the city.
