Synopsis

Amon, a solitary swordsmith, discovers a newborn lying beside his dead mother deep in the forest. Overwhelmed but unable to abandon the child, he takes him in and raises him as his own. A decade later the boy, now named Gai, has become Amon’s apprentice, until a tragic accident at the forge costs him his right arm. Determined to save the boy’s life and future, Amon forges a prosthetic arm from a sword called Shiryuu—and with that act their lives are forever altered, setting them on a new and dangerous path.
