Is the TV show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

At Stream Tracker, we’re digging into the classic 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — four pizza-loving brothers transformed by a mysterious green mutagen, raised in the sewers by Master Splinter, and trained to face Shredder, Krang and other threats alongside reporter April O'Neil. This piece looks at the show’s place in pop culture and, crucially, whether those shell-raising adventures are available to stream on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+. Packed with “Turtle Power,” mutagen-fueled fights and plenty of “cowabunga” moments, the original series became a phenomenon even if it didn’t collect major industry awards. Read on as the Stream Tracker team maps where you can watch each season in your region.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Synopsis

Four ordinary turtles swept into New York’s sewers are taken in by Hamato Yoshi, a Japanese exile forced to live beneath the city. A mysterious green mutagen alters the animals into humanoid warriors and transforms Yoshi into a giant, sentient rat. Adopting the name Master Splinter, he trains them in ninjutsu. Joined by intrepid reporter April O'Neil, the newly formed team must face Yoshi’s archrival, the armored Shredder, and the scheming alien warlord Krang, who seeks conquest from his home in Dimension X.
