Synopsis

Centuries ago, Emperor Zhao Ming gave his life to defend humanity against the celestial realm. His beloved, Hun Dunzhu, risked everything to preserve a shard of his spirit, binding him to an endless loop of rebirth. In a distant future, Zhao Ming returns as Xie Xuechen, the head of the Immortal Alliance, while Hun Dunzhu is reborn as Mu Xuanling, the Holy Maiden of the Dark Domain. They collide again in the mortal world with no memory of their past, each cast on opposite sides of a war painted as righteousness versus darkness. When Mu Xuanling finds Xie Xuechen gravely wounded within her territory, she drags him back from death and, claiming his survival as a debt, forces him into an uneasy journey by her side.
