Is the TV show The Piano Forest available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

At Stream Tracker, we like to follow stories that unfold as much in quiet practice rooms as on crowded stages — and The Piano Forest (2018) is exactly that kind of tale. Centered on Kai, the street-smart boy who has been coaxing melodies out of an abandoned piano in the woods, and Syuhei, the privileged prodigy raised on a family repertoire, the series traces how a shared bench and the same worn keys can change two lives. Its imagery of forests, benches, sheet music and the slow mastery of scales makes for a gentle, heartfelt coming-of-age about talent, rivalry and the language of music. In this article we’ll check where you can watch The Piano Forest and whether it’s available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+. Streaming rights shift by country and over time, so read on to find the current platforms, regional differences and the best way to catch those piano duets and concertos.

The Piano Forest

Synopsis

Kai, the child of a woman who worked on the margins of society, has spent his youth coaxing music from a neglected piano hidden in the nearby woods. Syuhei, born into a celebrated lineage of concert pianists, was raised under rigorous musical expectations until the instrument became as intimate to him as family. Despite their divergent upbringings, the piano becomes the shared language that draws their lives together and reshapes their futures.
