Synopsis
Raised in a loving household of scholars, Huang Yimei shows artistic promise from an early age. As she begins her professional journey she quickly attracts attention and falls in love with Zhuang Guodong, though their relationship eventually fades. Gaining clarity about her ambitions, she returns to school to further her studies and, after graduating, marries her senior Fang Xiewen; differing career trajectories, however, drive them apart and they divorce. Determined, Huang launches her own venture and earns a reputation as a skilled planner of art exhibitions. Along the way she meets Fu Jiaming, the person she believes to be her soulmate, but their happiness is cut short when he dies a few months later. Despite loss and setbacks, Huang Yimei perseveres, continually rebuilding and seeking a richer, more meaningful life.
