Synopsis

Raised in an academic home where warmth and encouragement shaped her childhood, Huang Yimei shows an early aptitude for the arts. Her promise quickly draws attention in the early stages of her career, and she forms a close relationship with Zhuang Guodong, though their romance eventually fades as they grow apart. Seeking greater clarity and direction, she returns to school, and after graduating marries an older colleague, Fang Xiewen; their differing professional trajectories, however, lead to a painful divorce.
