Synopsis

Renako Amaori is determined to leave her awkward, solitary junior-high years behind and start fresh in high school as just another girl with ordinary friends. Standing in stark contrast is Mai Ouzuka: glamorous, self-assured, wealthy, and a working model who seems to move through life with effortless confidence. The two form an instant, magnetic bond, and Renako begins to believe she has finally found the perfect best friend—until Mai drops a confession that upends everything.
