Synopsis
1955 finds sixty-year-old Marcel Pagnol — a celebrated playwright and filmmaker — asked by the editor-in-chief of ELLE to write a weekly column about his childhood. He welcomes the chance to return to his first love, writing, yet waning memory and the poor reception of his last two plays have left him doubting his gifts. Then, as if summoned by memory itself, the boy he once was appears, and together they journey through the key moments and treasured encounters of his life, resurrecting the memories that shaped him and his art.
