Synopsis

Set in 60 AD, the story follows Boudica, the warrior-queen of the Iceni who shared rule with her husband Prasutagus. When Roman soldiers kill him and claim there is no male heir, they confiscate her lands and possessions, humiliating her people. Driven by grief and fury, Boudica rallies neighboring tribes into a united force and mounts a sweeping rebellion against the Roman Empire to reclaim her realm and avenge her family.
