Synopsis

A gargantuan, seven-mile-wide celestial object hurtles toward Earth, threatening to annihilate all life. With the clock running out, the President of the United States appoints a battle-hardened astronaut to lead a combined American–Russian crew on a desperate mission to intercept and destroy the incoming threat.
