Synopsis
By 2029, ubiquitous networks and implanted cybernetics have erased the boundary between human thought and digital systems — and with that fusion comes a new threat: minds that can be remotely hijacked. A shadowy figure known only as "The Puppetmaster" begins exploiting that weakness to manipulate political events by seizing control of key individuals. To stop the unseen hand reshaping society, Section 9 — an elite squad of law enforcers augmented with cutting-edge cybernetics — is deployed to trace the hacker, expose the conspiracy, and confront the ethical cost of defending a world in which free will can be commandeered.
