Synopsis

When Will Kane, the sheriff of a small New Mexico town, learns that the notorious outlaw he once arrested has been released and will arrive on the noon train, he braces for a deadly confrontation. Convinced the criminal and his gang intend to kill him, Kane refuses to run and tries to rally the townspeople into a posse—only to find himself increasingly isolated as the clock counts down to the showdown.
