Is the movie Léon: The Professional available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we keep an eye on where classics and cult favorites live across the major services — Netflix included. Léon: The Professional (1994), Luc Besson’s gritty tale of a solitary hitman-turned-guardian and the 12-year-old Mathilda who learns the ropes of revenge, is one of those films that mixes hard-edged Manhattan crime with surprising tenderness (and an obsessive care for a houseplant). Starring Jean Reno, a young Natalie Portman and Gary Oldman as the loose-cannon DEA agent, the film launched Portman’s career and earned widespread critical attention, along with several awards and nominations. In this article, the Stream Tracker team will tell you whether Léon is currently available to stream on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+, and how to find it on each service.
Synopsis
A solitary, highly skilled New York hitman named Léon makes a living by cleaning up the violent aftermath of other people's crimes. When a reckless DEA agent destroys the household next door, Léon reluctantly takes in Mathilda, a traumatized twelve-year-old survivor.
