Making of Lord of the Flies (2026) is a trippy, behind-the-scenes portrait of Jack Thorne and Marc Munden’s fever-dream production: a British crew and an untested young cast battling monsoon twisters, torrential downpours and swarms of insects on a remote Malaysian island to bring a savage, hallucinatory adaptation to life. This piece digs into the film’s making — the interviews, the on-set ritual and the moments that echo the original’s island rites and descent into chaos — and explains where to find it online. Read on to see whether it’s currently streaming on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+, and, if it has already picked up festival prizes or awards, which ones to watch for.
