Is the movie My Father's Glory available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

At Stream Tracker, we’re taking a close look at My Father's Glory — Marcel Pagnol’s sun-drenched coming-of-age tale of a curious boy, his scientifically minded father Joseph, and the country summers where friendships with Lili and lessons in rural life reshape his world. Equal parts schoolroom wit and Provençal daydream, the film invites viewers into olive-scented fields, childhood adventures and the steady moral compass of a family as much as into a period portrait of turn-of-the-century France. In this article, we’ll check where you can stream it: whether it’s on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+. Though the film won wide popular acclaim and remains a beloved classic in France, it wasn’t a haul of major international awards — its lasting value lies more in the warmth of its storytelling and the authenticity of Pagnol’s world than in trophy cases.

My Father's Glory

Synopsis

Around 1900, Marcel is brought up in a household shaped by his father, Joseph Pagnol, a devoted science teacher, and his mother, Augustine, a practical seamstress. Steeped in his father's faith in reason, the boy's outlook is quietly ordered by logic and learning — until a summer spent in the countryside changes everything. There he befriends Lili, a lively local girl who introduces him to the rhythms, skills and small wonders of rural life, gently widening his world beyond books and theories.
