At Stream Tracker, we keep tabs on where legal thrillers land so you don't have to. Suspect (2004) is a tense courtroom drama: when a Supreme Court judge appears to commit suicide and his secretary is found murdered, suspicion falls on Carl Anderson, a homeless, deaf-mute veteran. Public defender Kathleen Riley and juror-turned-lobbyist Eddie Sanger refuse to accept the verdict and push past hearsay and hidden evidence, taking their own investigation from the bench into Washington’s shadowy corridors. The film didn’t collect major awards, but its focus on justice, verdicts and the fragile voice of an unlikely defendant makes it worth a look. In the article that follows, we check whether Suspect is currently streaming on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+ and how to watch it.
