The Blaze

Synopsis

Simon and his elderly father Joseph live among the wooded hills of the French Riviera. When a vast wildfire tears through their coastal district and the evacuation siren blares, they are forced to flee with nothing but what they can grab. A strengthening wind drives smoke and embers into the sky, and they become trapped in a jam of panicked cars and other evacuees as the blaze closes in. Ash begins to fall like snow, temperatures spike, and the fire’s roar grows frighteningly near — Simon must urgently find an escape route to save himself and his weakened father.
