Synopsis

A team of biologists uncovers a vast, uncharted network of subterranean caves in Romania and, convinced the isolated waters have given rise to previously unknown life forms, they bring in a premier American squad of cave divers to map its flooded passages. Delving deeper into the dark maze, a sudden collapse seals their route to the surface, and the trapped group soon learns the caves are home to a massive, carnivorous predator that now regards them as its next meal.
