Synopsis

At twenty-nine and newly released from rehab, Rona returns to the Orkney archipelago off Scotland’s coast — a rugged, windswept place that shaped her youth. After more than a decade of reckless living in London, where she once found and then lost love, she is forced to confront a painful past. Reimmersed in the stark landscapes of her upbringing, long-buried memories of childhood trauma resurface and collide with recent trials, pushing her to face what’s come before and to tentatively step toward healing.
