Synopsis
Kaya has always wanted to blend in with the other cells in her neighborhood, so when they set off on the grand expedition without her she is crushed. Refusing to be defined by being left behind, she strikes out alone into the vast, mysterious terrain of the body. She soon rescues the gruff yet principled General Abel, and despite being total opposites an unlikely bond begins to form. When a danger from within threatens their whole community, Kaya and Abel must combine their strengths to defend the home they share, and Kaya must embrace the very differences that could make her their greatest asset.
