Synopsis

Haruka Nanase has always felt most at home in the water, drawn to the calm and clarity of swimming. While still in elementary school he and his friends Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, and Rin Matsuoka competed in a swim meet and emerged victorious, but life carried them in different directions afterward. Years later, as Haruka drifts through a quiet high school existence, Rin reappears and issues a challenge, demonstrating a level of skill that shocks him. Unwilling to let things end there, Haruka brings Makoto and Nagisa back together and enlists the precise-minded Rei Ryugazaki to relaunch the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club—their shared goal: to face Rin and prove themselves once more.
