Synopsis
Beneath the planet’s crust, a civilization known as the Arkadians has rebuilt its world around an artificial sun, the Tehra. When the Tehra begins to falter, the desperate Arkadians break a long-held taboo to unlock the Forbidden Archives and uncover a solution. Using their uncommon gifts, they forge a living envoy named Arkana and send her upward, where she joins forces with Matt and Rebecca, two ordinary kids from the surface, Bic and Bac, a pair of peculiar anteaters from Arkadia, and Spartakus, a shadowy warrior with his own secrets. Together they traverse the layered realms of the subterranean strata, racing to restore the failing light and avert a catastrophe that threatens not only a hidden people but the world above.
