Is the movie Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we keep tabs on where classic anime shows and movies turn up so you don’t have to. Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest (1990) throws Goku, Master Roshi and the rest of the Z Fighters into a race against time after Dr. Kochin uses the Dragon Balls to resurrect the twisted scientist Dr. Wheelo — a brain in search of the strongest body on Earth. Expect cruise-control Kamehamehas, frantic rescue missions (Bulma’s abduction is the catalyst) and the kind of over-the-top power struggles that made the DBZ saga a staple for Saiyan fans. In this piece, the team checks whether you can stream The World’s Strongest on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+, which versions (sub/dub) are offered, and what to watch out for in the available releases. The film wasn’t a major awards contender, but it remains a must-see for anyone following Goku’s early big-screen battles.
Synopsis
When the unscrupulous Dr. Kochin uses the Dragon Balls to bring his deceased mentor Dr. Wheelo back to life, he unleashes a plot to dominate the planet. Having lost his flesh in an avalanche fifty years earlier, Wheelo needs the body of the world’s strongest fighter to become whole again. Convinced that the venerable Roshi is that champion, Kochin abducts Bulma and holds her hostage to force Roshi into surrendering himself. News of the kidnapping reaches Goku, who rushes off to save his friends and stop Wheelo’s terrifying scheme.
