Is the movie Birth available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we’re taking a close look at Jonathan Glazer’s 2004 psychological drama Birth, a quiet, haunting tale of grief, memory and the unsettling possibility of reincarnation. Nicole Kidman gives a restrained, eerie performance as Anna, a woman whose carefully reconstructed life is disturbed when a boy appears claiming to be her dead husband reborn — a premise that probes identity, loss and the thin line between belief and delusion. In this article we’ll check where you can watch Birth today and whether it’s streaming on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+, so you can follow the film’s slow-burning mystery from whichever platform suits you. The movie provoked strong reactions on release and, while it wasn’t a major awards sweep, it remains a conversation-starter for fans of ambiguous, atmospheric cinema.
Synopsis
Ten years after Sean's death, Anna is finally ready to move forward—she's engaged to Joseph and planning a new life. But at her engagement party a small boy appears calling himself Sean and claiming to be her late husband reborn. She initially writes him off, yet the child's startlingly specific recollections of private moments and details only the real Sean could have known force Anna to question whether he's a clever impostor, a desperate coincidence, or something far more impossible.
