At Stream Tracker, we like to cut through the fog of releases and tell you exactly where to find the films that matter — and Resident Dead (2026) is one you’ll want to know about. Part survival tale, part gut-wrenching family drama, the movie follows a desperate father ferrying a sealed package through swarming undead to secure a promised cure for his newly zombified daughter. The stakes are brutally simple: succeed and he gets the cure, fail — or open the package — and both are doomed. Expect references to quarantine zones, infected hordes, and the moral quarantine that comes with impossible choices — all central to the film’s nightmarish atmosphere. As of writing, Resident Dead hasn’t picked up major festival awards; if that changes, Stream Tracker will update the page with any accolades and what they mean for viewers.
