Synopsis
While escorting William Riker and Deanna Troi to their honeymoon on Betazed, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise receive a Starfleet alert: a coup on Romulus has propelled a new leader, Shinzon, who unexpectedly seeks rapprochement with the Federation. Entering hostile space to investigate, the crew uncovers a disturbing reality—Shinzon is not Romulan but a human raised in slavery on Romulus’s twin world, Remus, and he harbors a concealed, deeply personal connection to Picard that upends loyalties and intentions.
